Storyline:
The series is based on the premise of a political leader who overcame the odds in Indian politics. The series’ main character, Huna Qureshi, plays the role of Rani Bharti who is an activist for women’s rights. She’s a wife and a housewife. The leads of the legislative council in Bihar, Rabri Devi and Kanti Singh are also written into; both being wives of political leaders from Bihar such as Rabri Devi, who happens to be the wife of Lalu Prasad Yadav whose preoccupation with politics can leave Rabri to run his household . In real life, Rabri has held public office in Bihar since 1997 when she was elected to parliament for the first time.
